微小粒子の粒度分布やゼータ電位などの分析を同時に行うことができる。ナノ粒子の粒度分布解析には光散乱などが用いられることが多いが、この装置は光を散乱できない極微少量域の粒度分布と電気的特性を評価することができる。また同室のTEMと組み合わせることでより高精度な粒度・粒形分布解析ができる。

It is possible to analyze the particle size distribution and zeta potential of nano-particles at the same time. Light scattering is often used for analyze the particle size distribution of nano-particles. However, this device can evaluate the particle size distribution and electricalcharacterisitics in a very small amount samples that can not be scatterd light. In addition, by combining with the TEM, we can obtain more accurate particle size distribution and grain shape.
